William Shane Hall

May 22, 1971 – November 7, 2023

It is with heavy hearts that we bid farewell to a beloved member of our community, Mr. William Shane Hall, the founder and owner of Halltec HVAC. Shane, as he was affectionately known, passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at the age of 52, surrounded by his loving family at his home in Ayden.

A true native of Pitt County, Shane dedicated his entire life to the Ayden community, leaving a mark on those he touched. A graduate of D.H. Conley High School, he was deeply rooted in the values of community, service, and dedication.

Shane embarked on his entrepreneurial journey in 1996 when he founded “Mr. Electric” and served as owner and operator. As the years passed, his passion for providing top-notch service led him to expand the business to include air conditioning services. That’s when the name changed to Halltec HVAC.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Shane had a passion for the Ayden Fire and Rescue, of which he was a dedicated member for an impressive 30 years.

He attended Roundtree Christian Church, reflecting the spiritual anchor that guided his life. Shane’s faith provided him with strength and purpose, shaping his character and influencing the positive impact he had on those around him.

While Shane’s professional achievements were undoubtedly impressive, his true treasures in life were his family. He is survived by his devoted wife, Bobbi Jo Allen Hall, and two daughters, Savannah Alise Hall and Rachel Shane Hall. His love for them was immeasurable and served as a constant source of inspiration for those fortunate enough to witness their bond.

Shane is also survived by his mother, Sandra Rice Weeks, his sisters Brandi Hall, Wanda Wingate, Tonya Loftin, Jennifer Adams, and stepbrothers Si and Daryl Weeks. Additionally, he is fondly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Ayden Fire and Rescue, a cause close to Shane’s heart. Contributions can be sent to P.O. Box 428, Ayden, NC 28513.

As we mourn the loss of a remarkable individual, let us remember Shane for the warmth he brought to our lives and the community. In honoring his memory, let us continue to uphold the values of service, dedication, and love that defined the life of William Shane Hall.
